MERCED, CA - Units from the Merced City Fire department as well as the Merced PD responded to a fire at 720 Motel drive at the vacant Carrows restaurant building, shortly before 2 .am. this morning. Witnesses reported that fire completely engulfed the building and that it was a total loss. An update to this story will be posted soon...
